"The Buryan is a Tier IX Soviet heavy tank. Its key feature is a rare combination of an impressive 490 HP of damage per shot and high DPM, making it exceptionally strong in one-on-one duels. However, it pays for this with mediocre gun handling and only โ6ยฐ of gun depression.
Its mobility is adequate for short repositioning, but the 36 km/h top speed limits flanking potential. The Buryan is also capable of blocking many hits with its sturdy turret with 250 mm of frontal armor.
In a nutshell, the Buryan is a perfect choice for close-range fights and HP trading. Remember to avoid hilly positions where the poor gun depression becomes a disadvantage."

Russian style of mediocre accuracy, aim time, and gun depression; makes up for it by having very high DPM and fast hull/turret traverse; DPM is the highest for a big caliber at tier 9 (bigger caliber than stock guns for most heavies); base DPM is better than an IS-7 with rammer
Armor if mostly about nominal thickness for 'lower' plate (similar to Obj. 452K); side armor is average, closer to a Conqueror/M103; turret front is rounded with cupola weakspots but there are range finder/ gun sights blocking complete shots to the cupola
Above average hp/ton and average top speed for a breakthrough (doesn't compared to the mobility of an IS-7 or Obj. 277 but still faster than Assault heavies)
