Wokwi Simulator-Turn ON/OFF Light/FAN using IR receiver and Remote using ESP32 (Remote control HA)
In this video, we demonstrate how to control home appliances such as Light or Fan using an IR receiver (TSOP1838) and TV remote control, interfaced with the ESP32 using the Wokwi online simulator.
When specific remote buttons are pressed, the ESP32 reads the decoded IR signal and toggles the relay to switch the appliance ON or OFF.
This is an excellent beginner-friendly project to learn IR communication, home automation, and ESP32 relay control without needing real hardware.
