Plug Power Stock Fundamentals Are WEAK | $PLUG Stock Analysis
Plug Power has been seeing a lot of attention on YouTube lately and its more on a technical standpoint but if you look at the company from a fundamental standpoint like we do, this stock is weak.
As Paul shows in the video, if you were to look at this company back in the early 2000s, they had a stock price of +$1,100 to all come tumbling down in 2001 and steadily staying in the low margins until just this year.
As other YouTubers look at this stock, quite a few of them are looking at the technical analysis of this stock, for us that is a different form of trading and that should be something that you should keep in mind when watching this.
From a fundamental standpoint there isn't much for this company. They have been losing money each year to the point where our 8 Pillar Stock Analysis would be all negatives for this stock which is why we don't even run through it.
The thing that stands out to us the most is that they are selling off their shares like crazy. They have gone from ~11M in shares to ~231M shares and that dilutes its investors (you) quite a bit.
This is not a stock to consider holding on your portfolio right now. It's one that might be good for trading and momentum. The point we are making in this video isn't that EV isn't the future, this stock very well could go to the moon like some people are saying out there, but its not fundamentally sound to hold as an investment.
