How to make a Star Wars type transition - DaVinci Resolve 17
A quick look at how to make the classic Star Wars (blurred edge) transitions in the Fusion page… and if you pay attention I will give you a freebie at the end!
If you are not on 17.2 you can still use the macro (DR 17+) change the extension of the download file to .zip and unzip it. Dig through the folder structure to find the .settings file and install this in:
for Windows: C:\Users\YOUR_USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Blackmagic Design\DaVinci Resolve\Support\Fusion\Templates\Edit\Transitions
for Mac: MacintoshHD/Users/YOUR_USERNAME/Library/Application Support/ Blackmagic Design/DaVinci Resolve/Fusion/Templates/Edit/Transitions
