Most people drive past Oberlin, Ohio without a second thought — but this small
town quietly sits at the center of some of America's most important history.
From being a major hub of the abolitionist movement to becoming one of the
first colleges in the country to admit Black students, Oberlin punched way
above its weight class.
As a Missouri-born, Ohio-living guy with a thing for hidden history, this one
genuinely blew me away. We walked the campus, explored downtown, and dug into
why this little college town deserves way more attention than it gets.
