there are 3 Modes of working of Bike Rectifier:
1. Single phase Rectifier
2. Double phase Rectifier
3. Three phase Rectifier
it is depend on Bike manufacturer that which mode of rectifier he want to add in the bike for battery charging and regulating purposes and Phases of rectifier is also depend on the type of bike stater.
inspection of rectifier can be done by two ways to know that it is Good or Bad Rectifier.
1. is offline method (dissembling RR unit from bike and testing it with Multi meter continuity option)
2. second one is inline method in which rectifier Unit fixed in bike with all connections and no need to disassemble it from bike.
then AC voltage and DC voltage test performs on bike regulator to find the Optimal Ranges of DC voltage and AC voltage of bike charging unit.
