Mio captured and shrunken
Story:
Mio dashed into an empty room, her Keves attackers hot on her tail. While on patrol, her squad was ambushed and she had tried to lead the Kevesi away from the rest of her team. Unfortunately, now she was alone in enemy territory.
“Spark, she got away.” She heard a voice call out. “I’ll check in this room, the rest of you fan out. We don’t want to let her get away without claiming her life.”
The door was kicked open and promptly closed, probably to prevent Mio from escaping. Mio crept into position getting ready to strike at her attacker. As her attacker walked into the room, she could see it was a Kevesi medic. An ideal target. Mio would try to knock her out and escape before she could call for reinforcements.
Mio readied herself, and dashed towards the the medic. Unfortunately, she missed her strike, and only hit her staff, sending a shower of sparks into the air as she shattered the blade’s clock. Cursing herself, Mio readied for her next attack. But this time, Eunie was ready.
When Mio darted towards her again, Eunie sidestepped, and smashed the end of her staff into her attacker’s chest, sending her flying, and dealing a nasty wound to the enemy Agnian. “Thought you could take me? Think again, Eunie’s the boss.” The medic monologued as her opponent gasped for breath through her shattered rib cage. “Well, time to finish you off. I was hoping to kill more of your squad, Lanz wanted something a bit meatier.”
Eunie brought her gunstaff up to her hip and began charging her canon, but suddenly, the charge sputtered out. “The spark?” Eunie looked down at her weapon to see that its flame clock was shattered. Without the clock, she couldn’t gather flame from any of her kills. Instead she thought she’d do the next best thing.
Preparing a different art, Eunie brought her staff down onto the ground, activating a ring under Mio. Eunie watched with a smile on her face as Mio began to shrink. As her size dwindled, Mio became more and more worried. She could see the world growing around her, and tried to run out of the ring, but as soon as she tried to move her chest exploded in pain. Once she had shrunken down to next-to-nothing, Mio’s shrinking stopped.
Giant footsteps pounded next to her as Eunie stepped down, towering over Mio. She knelt down and plucked up the tiny defender from the ground, placing her in her palm. She looked at her for a second before grabbing an empty bottle and dropping her inside.
“So you’re an off-seer, eh? Maybe Noah’ll want to talk with you.” She told Mio before putting her bottle back on her waist.
