Creating a Foam Cast of a 3D Model

I set out on a mission to create a perfect foam cast of my scrolling figurene for the conveyor belt project. I gather all the required materials- silicone, castable expanding foam, gloves, mixing containers. With the blissful ignorance of zero experience, I created the mold and began casting foam. 3 Weeks later, after trying different molds, different silicones, different foams, I finally created a cast that was almost perfect. But it still had its flaws, which is why I’ve decided to switch gears entirely and try something else! Stay tuned for the next video.
