How to Ingest/Access XML Files with ORDS and APEX on Oracle ATP
In this video we will show you how to create a REST post endpoint to consume a binary .xml file with Oracle REST Data Services. On consumption you will learn how to write pl/sql to convert the BLOB (binary) into a CLOB and store inside a table with a XMLTYPE column. Once stored we will demonstrate how to create XPATH queries inside Oracle Autonomous that can be leveraged as views in the database to easily query the xml in its' native form for use inside APEX applications, or other custom development.
