This exercise effectively engages the large hip joints and thigh muscles.
Marjariasana – This asana loosens the back. Regular practice of Marjariasana is especially recommended for those with a stiff spine and chronic back or neck pain. Marjariasana provides a good massage of the abdominal and pelvic areas, which has a beneficial effect on the internal organs. The nerves that connect to the digestive, reproductive, and excretory organs are located within and along the spine. Marjariasana gently stretches and stimulates these spinal nerves, which has an additional effect, improving the functioning of the internal organs. It has been found that many women suffer from genital disorders. This asana has proven to be extremely beneficial in healing these organs and helping to restore reproductive function. Women with menstrual irregularities and leukorrhea have benefited greatly from regularly practicing this asana.
Spring is the beginning of a new life cycle; it's not for nothing that in ancient times, the New Year's countdown began in the spring, on the day of the vernal solstice.
Spring is the beginning. Birth.
The ancient Slavs always compared winter to sleep, to death. Spring is awakening, birth. And all nature, including humans, obeys this rhythm. Women are especially close to nature and sensitive to natural cycles. Every living being faces the very important and complex task of transitioning their body from a dormant state to an active, summer mode in the spring.
Over the winter, our bodies accumulate a multitude of waste products. But it's not just our bodies that become polluted, but our souls as well. And it's not just a lack of vitamins. By the end of winter, we feel tired due to a lack of sun, due to the fact that the positive energy of the Universe is not perceived by the clogged body, or is perceived very weakly and in insufficient quantities.
It's no wonder that the incidence of illness increases in the spring. Doctors recommend reducing mental and physical stress in the spring.
For a long time, exercise and nutrition have been "winter-like." Our hormonal balance is stuck in hibernation mode. And in order to enter an active period of life, we need to awaken the body, shake it up, and cleanse it.
It's no coincidence that Lent occurs in the spring. And it's in the spring that cleansing practices and procedures are recommended.
And at the same time, spring is one of the most beautiful times of the year. Trees and grasses bloom, and all of nature dresses up in spring attire.
We invite you to a yoga practice – to shake off winter drowsiness, banish the winter darkness and cold from the corners of your body and soul, and let in spring joy, light, and warmth.
