Road Trip to Maryland | Meeting My Newborn Niece | Annapolis | Baltimore | Baby's First Steps |
I decided to take Bryce and Luka on a little road trip to Maryland from New Jersey (a 3 hour drive) to visit my sister Melissa & her husband who were expecting a new baby any day!
We stayed at their house, and each day we had fun adventures while we waited for baby Eliana to make her appearance.
We drove down there on New Year's Eve, and walked around Annapolis in hopes to see fireworks and ending our night with watching the ball drop.
We had a lot of firsts during this trip- including Luka walking for the first time at 10 months old, and Bryce went ice skating for the first time and LOVED it.
It even snowed on our trip and although we were not prepared with our snow gear, the kids had so much fun playing in the snow, and this was Luka's first experience ever being out in the snow (he was not sure how to feel about it!)
We even went to Baltimore Inner Harbor and went to the aquarium with the boys for the second time. They love seeing the sharks and dolphins! Bryce also loved his nature walk at a local park while "exploring."
Meeting their new cousin was the highlight (and reason) for our trip! Bryce was just over the moon with his baby cousin and it was such a joy to witness him meeting her and seeing his love for her. I was overjoyed to be able to photograph her newborn photos while there also! I will also never forget being able to witness and be a part of her birth virtually.
I love taking my kids on fun little trips, especially when we get to try new things and find new adventures. Thank you for coming along with us while we make memories together!
