GTK4 | Golang GUI Frameworks in 2025, Part 3
I briefly lay out GTK bindings for Go and discuss their strengths and limitations. GTK4 is obviously a good choice for Linux GUI development. For Windows and MacOS it works as long as you don't require a native look and feel. GTK is a very mature framework that has been around for almost 30 years, and currently has two main maintainers. Android and iOS are not supported.
