Before 3:00 the parts without runes are in modern Icelandic, while the parts with runes are in Old Norse, taken from the skaldic poem Austrfararvísur by Sigvatr Þórðarson.
After 3:35 it's partly in modern German and partly in Old High German. The OHG text is an extract from the Straßburger Blutsegen, a blessing dated roughly to the 11th century.
Never, under any circumstances, trust a skaldic poem. No matter what it tells you. It's a trap.
I know a transcription in runes of such a text doesn’t really have any reason to be, if not as a treat, but yeah…that’s just what it is, bear with me.
