If you are migrating your own site or a client's site from Google Analytics 3 to Google Analytics 4, a critical pre-migration check is to document any existing GA3 goals that the account already has in place.
GA4 does not have goals in the same sense that GA3 does. Instead, GA4 has conversions and events. Thus, you'll need to take the what we used to call goals in GA3, and set them up as events, and then conversions in GA4 to make them capture data successfully
