Studio 5000 Scaling with the CPT Instruction in Ladder Logic
The CPT instruction is the easiest way to do scaling in ladder logic of Studio 5000. The SCL instruction is not available in ladder logic so you must do the math in a CPT instruction. We will take a 4-20mA signal and scale it in an Allen Bradley Compactlogix PLC. The CPT instruction works the same way in other Allen Bradley PLCs.
