Joana Quaye has filed an application at the Accra High Court seeking to restrain businessman Richard Nii Armah Quaye from disposing of several high-value assets and company shares pending the determination of an appeal.
The injunction application targets interests in companies including Bills Micro Credit, Quick Angels, Ridge Medical Centre, and CEQA Foods.
Court documents indicate that the dispute also involves properties at Trasacco Estates, East Legon, and Dansoman, as well as several luxury vehicles allegedly acquired during the marriage.
Mrs. Quaye claims she played a significant role in supporting Mr. Quaye’s education and early business ventures and argues that some company interests were altered without her consent.
The case is expected to attract major public interest as the court determines whether the assets should be preserved pending the appeal process
