While Please and Bazel are very similar owing to their common ancestry with Blaze, Please differs immensely
in philosophy. With a homogenous build graph and a non-restarting scheduler, the Please build system has
some powerful semantics that have allowed us to push all the domain logic into the build language. While Bazel is moving in this direction, Please is an existing example of how this approach can enable powerful development tooling to aid rule authors and rule consumers alike.
