As a professional skincare writer, I try not to ooh and aah too much when I read a product ingredient list. Sometimes the sum just isn’t as impressive as the individual parts. That, thankfully, was not the case with Le Mieux’s TGF-B Booster. One application of this watery non-water serum had me singing the praises of growth factors and happily hydrated skin.
🥰Ingredient Fangirling: Take a passing glance at the ingredient list, and you’ll quickly notice one thing missing from the formula – water! This milky serum combines a trio of ferments, multiple peptides, and green algae extract in a multi-weighted hyaluronic acid base. Straight out of the bottle, my skin sucked this up! And I know I’ll be returning to this serum after my next ablative laser procedure in September.
🥰Texture: If I didn’t know better, I’d think this was an essence or maybe a hydrating toner. The watery, milky liquid absorbs lightning fast and leaves infinitely plump skin in its wake. It works great as a layering serum (use it after toning then apply your other serums) and equally well as a standalone serum in a four-step routine (cleanser, toner, serum, moisturizer).
Closing Thoughts: As a growth factor product, this could become a long-term player for me. I’ve blasted through a quarter of the bottle in just a few weeks in conjunction with my other rejuvenating products, so time will tell if it has an impact on skin laxity. At 56, I don’t expect topicals to fix what time and wisdom have created, but this has good long-term potential.
