I'm starting a series where I document my own journey practicing hip hop dance, this is NOT a polished tutorial, it's just me putting in the work and sharing what I'm figuring out along the way. I will always be doing a foundational warm up first and dive into some moves and concepts. Some of it I'm honestly making up on the spot lol Feel free to follow along if you want.
Hip hop dance was born in the Bronx, New York in the early 1970s within Black and Latino communities. I came into this culture later, so I approach it with a lot of respect and gratitude for the pioneers and originators who built it.
Thank you for coming on this with me at the very start — hopefully I can stay consistent and share some useful, helpful insights into dance and life. Let's get into it ;)
