The Plants vs. Zombies: Replanted remaster is a total disgrace.
It seemed like nothing interesting would happen with the remaster before the October 23rd release, but another low point was reached – the game launched a week before the actual release, revealing to all concerned fans a ton of bugs and shortcomings, as well as evidence of AI upscaling. I was one of the first to play a leaked release build of the game, and in this video, I'll share my thoughts on what I saw.
I'll likely finish it after the release; maybe the developers can fix at least some of the issues with a "day one patch," since I already have a license. I recommend everyone else avoid purchasing this remaster, or even request a refund if you already own it, at least on PC, as it's a very rough and buggy port of the original game to the Unity engine with virtually no new content.
