Scenario:
“Honda Pakistan” is one of the leading car manufacturer and seller in Pakistan with quite a significant market share. The overall market growth rate is also high, with companies selling even more of their vehicles annually than before, despite of the unusual price hike due to inflating dollar rates. Honda has a few very famous and long running models in the local market which have been generating some serious sales for the company for quite a long time. Honda City is one of the most selling model manufactured by Honda and is the lowest priced Honda sedan car assembled in Pakistan. Honda City has grasped a huge share in the Pakistani market, where the market has a high growth rate as well. Honda Civic, is other models which is doing very good. However, in case of Honda Civic, let’s assume that the growth rate of the market is not as much as in case of Honda City (i.e. low market growth rate) but they also have a considerably high market share to their name. Whereas, in case of Honda BRV it has not yet been able to grasp a considerable market share as in the case of other Honda cars especially when the growth rate of the market is considerably high.
