Practice 1 - Bitlocker
BitLocker is an encryption application that allows us to protect our hard drive from possible information theft. We found this tool available since Windows Vista, so we also have it available in Windows Server 2008, Windows 7, Windows 8 and Windows 10.
BitLocker encrypts entire volumes. This means that it can encrypt the entire hard drive or just a part of it. It uses an AES encryption algorithm in CBC mode with a 128-bit key. For clarification, AES is an encryption scheme that the U.S. government considers a standard.
