This siren is part of the Cleveland County Outdoor Warning System, and it is tested on the first Saturday of every month weather permitting at 12:00 pm, and is controlled by the Cleveland County Fire Department and Emergency Management Agency
My friend SPCPeachtree City and I decided to go on a vacation to Myrtle Beach. But before we did, we realized that it was the first Saturday of the month and we decided to head to Shelby, North Carolina to record a Federal Sign & Signal 3T22 siren up in Cleveland County, but we weren't alone, ClayRanger143 joined along as he got a new frequency scanner radio that I gave to him as a gift, as he is also reviewing that scanner in "Radio Reviews".
