If there's one thing people have been asking for during the Year of the Voice, it's wake word. The ability to say something like "OK Google," "Hey Siri," or "Alexa" to make your smart home automatically listen to your commands. Guess what - we did it. Wake word is now available in Home Assistant. In this video, we demonstrate wake word detection on a Raspberry Pi 3 and an ESP32 board.
