8 - Evaluation Context - Filter Context
Hi Learners,
In this video , I have explained FILTER context, which is one of the evaluation context used by Power BI and Power Pivot.
Filter context filters the report.
When filtering is going on, no iteration happens.
Formulas are calculated within a context. Same formula when calculated in a different filter context will produce different value.
Each value is independent of the other.
All filters including rows , columns, slicer, page filter , report filer combine to form a single filter context.
A filter context can be thought of as a list of dictionaries (in python), i.e., key-value pair.
