How to remove duplicates in Plex Home Screen
Here's a quick tutorial on how to remove duplicates in your Plex home screen and continue watching.
When you link multiple folders in multiple libraries, duplicates will appear on your home screen. To fix this, you must change the visibility settings in your libraries that are already part of your main library.
Here's an example:
Movies [Library] Visibility: Include in home screen and global search
Movies [Folder]
Movie Series [Folder]
Disney Movies [Folder]
Movie Series [Library] Visibility: Exclude from home screen
Movie Series [Folder]
Disney Movies [Library] Visibility: Exclude from home screen
Disney Movies [Folder]
To do this, on the Library that you want to exclude on the left side panel, click the 3 dots (Action), then click Manage Library, Edit... and then under Advanced, look for Visibility settings and change it to "Exclude from home screen".
