After testing out a few different products from Tata Harper, I can easily say that the brand is a winner overall. Serums, at least for me, are where I spend the most money because I’m looking for active ingredients. The Resurfacing Serum minimizes texture, keeps pores clear, and gives the skin a healthy glow. That makes this a triple threat to the other items on your shelf.
I’ve used this by itself after my essence and mixed with a hyaluronic acid serum when my skin felt extra dry. The natural fragrance is lovely (like citrus) and a single pump of serum covers my entire face and neck.
Since I use Retin A, I was surprised that this serum did not irritate my skin. It’s surprisingly mild and has a few of my favorite ingredients in it (including sea buckthorn and lactic acid). There’s glycolic acid in here, too, which doesn’t always work for me, but in concert with these other ingredients it does a great job of amping up the glow factor without causing irritation.
Closing Thoughts: It’s easy to overuse this, but you really only need one pump if your skin has some residual moisture in it from an essence or hydrating toner. On a completely aesthetic note, I adore Harper’s bottles. The flared bases make them sit solidly on the counter, and they are unlike anything I’ve seen before. 5 stars
