His core career stint of 16 years was spent as a top executive at L’Oréal, where he was on the w/w Executive Committee for the Professional Products Division. He has written four award-winning books, including Heartificial Empathy, 2nd edition, which came out in April 2023, and is finishing one about fostering more meaningful conversation. He wrote and produced the acclaimed WWII biography and film (on PBS), The Last Ring Home.
