This video was created with a new dance animation app that I am creating. I am a fan of the work of Keersmaeker and Reich, and creating this video helped me to understand the music and choreography. The musical structure is shown with the spheres for claps and the squares for pauses (the blue sphere is the first clap and next clap is on the left). The right zombie follows the same sequence through the whole piece (shown by the red spheres). The music shifts occasionally, so that the main and shift clapper are not in sync (the green spheres will shift). The left zombie follows the shift clapper by occasionally pausing to shift his relationship to the right zombie (he also rotates to highlight the transitions). Eventually the whole circle is completed and the zombies end in sync again. When the app is finished, I will post a link here.
