How to Use Istanbul Card for Transportation

An Istanbul card costs 6 Turkish Lira (approx. 75 cents) then load. Good on ferries, metro, tram and bus. Obtain from a kiosk near the tram tracks or perhaps your hotel has one on loan; a real time saver.
On the way to Princes Islands, I asked tour guide Kadir to lead us through the intricacies. Unfortunately, there is much glare but you will get the idea!
