Not everybody wants to wear a hat. Or one of those fancy scarves women in old-timey movies wore to keep their coif in order. Well, in their place, Mercedes-Benz provides a solution with its AIRCAP feature.
In this video, we explain how it works in the 2017 Mercedes-Benz C-Class Cabriolet convertible, although it's also offered in the E-Class and S-Class convertibles as well. Located in the windshield header, it raises at the press of a button to direct air up and over the cabin. A pop-up wind deflector behind the back seat prevents it from whirring back into the cabin. The result is less wind buffeting, noise and, yes, hair fussing. You'll never want to drive a convertible without AIRCAP again.
