Super Mario Advance Nintendo Switch handheld gameplay. Super Mario Advance is a remake of Super Mario Bros. 2 developed by Nintendo Research & Development 2 as a launch title for the Game Boy Advance, released in Japan in March 2001 and in North America and Europe in June of the same year. It is based on the Super Mario All-Stars remaster, and also contains a remake of the original Mario Bros. arcade game.
