Having an online resume helps if you have to send your resume to many employers or showcase your skills on the Internet rather just on a PDF file.
Use this method to create a free Resume(CV) online, make changes wherever required and give out the URL to your employer.
We are using Jekyll (which is actually a blogging platform) to design the resume and Github Pages hosts it for free.
You can also use a custom domain URL for the resume. Just follow this tutorial
