Rare sperm whales sighting in the Arctic
WWF-Canada Arctic Species Specialist Brandon Laforest was near Pond Inlet, Nunavut when he captured two sperm whales a little far from home. Sperm whales aren’t usually found so far north in the Arctic Ocean as they prefer ice-free waters. This is just the second time these whales have been captured on camera in this region.
