Halo Mud Abuse Test
Members of the ILLUMAGEAR crew demonstrate the durability of our 2nd-gen Halo in an in-field mud abuse test.
We built the Halo to survive on job sites. Don't be fooled by its sleek look, the Halo is a tool built to survive abuse. To prove this, we took a single unit and put it through a variety of tests one winter morning.
This is one of 5 durability abuse tests we put a Halo through. We buried it in mud, immersed it in water, smashed it with a full toolbox (twice), ran over it with a Jeep, and then dropped it from 25 feet to asphalt.
The same Halo is used in each of the durability tests.
