How to Create Presets in Adobe Audition using Favorites.

In this Sixty Second Tutorial we look at how you can speed up your audio editing workflow by creating Presets using Favorites in Adobe Audition.

We cover the following:-

1. In Audition you can use Favorites to create presets when applying the same effects to multiple audio clips.

2. With your selected audio clip opened in Audition, first in the menu bar left click ‘Favorites’ and scroll down to the bottom of the drop down menu and click ‘Start Recording Favorite’.

3. A pop up window will appear with a little more information on recording favorites, click ok and start to edit your audio.

4. Now all of the effects you add to your audio clip will be recorded.

5. In this example we’re just doing a simple clean up to some audio recorded for a voice over.

6. Once you’ve finished applying effects, go back to ‘Favorites’ in the menu and select ‘Stop Recording Favorite’

7. A window will appear where you can name this ‘Favorite’ that you have created and it will now be added to the ‘Favorites’ list.

8. You can now apply all these same effects onto new audio clips by simply choosing this favorite from the Favorites menu.
