In today's video we talk about two legendary guitars that thanks to Harley Benton are accessible to everyone!
The first is a replica of James' historic ESP 🔥 MX200, the one he used for the And Justice For All tour and which he never abandoned.
James is so fond of that guitar that you can see him only using it in studio videos, he doesn't take it on tour with him anymore, who can blame him!
The Harley Benton EX84 in the video is perfect because not only does it follow the original guitar in terms of wood and style, but also because it comes with active EMG pickups from the factory which are the same ones that James himself used for quite a while during his career. if this isn't the perfect guitar to play Metallica I don't know which one is!
The other legendary instrument is by Kirk Hammett, specifically a replica of his Les Paul Greeny. Yes, the same electric guitar that belonged to Peter Green of Fleetwood Mac, Gary Moore and is now touring all Metallica stages with Kirk Hammett all the time, Kirk loves that guitar!
Gibson has made some custom shop and standard models but they cost a lot, as an alternative I found this Harley Benton guitar which is perfect not only for the style, but also because the active EMG pickups it mounts push a lot!
To play Metallica without spending crazy money these seem perfect to me. They're built well, priced right, and play loud! 🤘🏻
