What I learned about photography in 2023 | video shot on the Nikon P7800
In 2023 I have experimented with a lot of cameras. Most notably was the Micro Four Thirds cameras and small sensor camera like the Ricoh GRD IV, Canon SD790IS, and Nikon P7800.
Small sensors have their pros and cons and these cameras in particular have way more pros. The biggest pros for the one's I chose were the lenses. Getting good fast lenses coupled with a good control layout made these some of my favorites.
Embracing limitations in photography fosters creativity. Constraints on gear or settings encourage resourcefulness, forcing photographers to focus on composition, storytelling, and innovative techniques. Working within limitations cultivates a unique style, pushing artists to find beauty in simplicity and redefine what's possible with the tools at hand.
