How to Set MacBook 16:9 Screen Resolution with BetterDisplay
A simple guide on how to change the screen resolution to 16:9 for MacBook users.
MacBooks come with great screens featuring a 16:10 aspect ratio. This isn’t a problem for daily tasks, except when it comes to screen recording as a content creator.
As you may know, video publishing platforms like YouTube mostly recommend a 16:9 aspect ratio. If you record your MacBook screen in full screen, you’ll always end up with 16:10 videos. Unfortunately, macOS doesn’t provide a direct setting to change the screen resolution to 16:9. However, there’s a third-party app you can use called BetterDisplay.
