openSUSE, Leap 16, Tumbleweed, Myrlyn Package Manager GUI.
Learn how to install and use Myrlyn, the new graphical package manager coming to openSUSE Leap 16. In this tutorial (using openSUSE Tumbleweed), we install Myrlyn and explore its Qt interface. We search for and install a package, apply updates, remove software, and add a community repository (e.g. Packman). Myrlyn will replace YaST’s software installer in Leap 16, so this demo shows the future of software management on openSUSE Linux. Follow along to see how easy managing packages can be with Myrlyn.
