There are many benefits to underarm waxing treatments. Underarm waxing acts as an exfoliant, removing all the dead surface skin cells. Unlike shaving, there are no ingrown hairs, redness, or itchy skin. Shaving also strengthens the hair follicles making the hair grow back faster and thicker; however, with waxing, after each treatment, hair grows in slower and finer. In addition, unlike shaving, there is no "shadow" left behind with waxing because the hair is removed from the root.
Using warm Azulene wax, our esthetician applies the wax using a wooden spatula. She then covers the waxed area with paper strips. Once the wax sets, she quickly pulls off the paper strips along with the unwanted hair. We adhere to a strict "no double-dipping" policy for hygienic reasons and no applicator is ever dipped into the wax twice. It is thrown away and a new one used with each swipe.
