this is me driving and playing along on a casio ctk511 i gutted and mounted to the floorboard of my car. hadta cut the bottom octave off the keyboard so it would fit.
if you're looking for wrong notes you'll find some.
i don't look at the keyboard while driving - i play by feel like blind piano players do, so i can drive and play along with the cd player like everybody else drives and sings along with theirs.
i read the state law and verified that there's no law against it, and even went to the local police station and had a policeman admit it wasn't illegal.
the casio ctk511 isn't the best-sounding keyboard but before i tore up a more expensive keyboard i needed a cheapy ebay unit to test if a mostly-plastic keyboard could make it in the car through a summer in the sun and a cold winter and still work.
apparently it can. it's been in the car 11 months now.
hope to soon replace it with a yamaha ypt300.
i'm still working out volume issues between the cd player, the casio, and road noise, and the low end of the casio is inherently quieter than the high end. eventually i'll run the keyboard through my stereo as soon as i sort out some ground loop problems.
my canon camera is limited to recording 3 minute videos, regardless of the resolution, hence the last 3 minutes of the song.
if you want to see some REAL keyboard playing, search for anything by jordan rudess, or someone playing dream theater stuff on their keyboard.
hope you enjoy it. thanks for looking.
