“Portal Within” is part of ASTRAL — a cinematic spiritual music experience by Ethera Soul.
This song was born from transformation, remembrance, intuition, and the feeling that sometimes the deepest journeys are the ones that happen within ourselves.
While creating this visual and listening again tonight, this song unexpectedly took on a much deeper meaning for me.
On the release day of this song, I learned that a young artist and friend passed away after her battle with cancer. And suddenly this song no longer felt like only a song about awakening… but also about crossing, release, and returning home to something beyond this world.
Some art reveals its meaning later.
