The Gatsby Background Image Plugin is one of the more powerful tools in the Gatsby JS arsenal. Once you get used to using it, you won't ever go back.
Gatsby uses the power of GraphQL to effectively lazy load large background images into your site. It incorporates many of the tools used within Gatsby Image to load the images.
A little learning curve but once you get a handle of it, it can be very powerful.
