In this video Travis discusses the fundamentals of the Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP). He shows why it is a core protocol in managing corporate network infrastructures as well as how it can be used to identify malicious events in your network.
Travis also shows a basic set-up of SNMP in ciscos IOS. Using packet tracer he makes SNMP get requests from an SNMP agent and also shows how to make configuration changes with SNMP set requests.
