Copeland Scroll Compressor Noise
I have a year old Copeland Scroll compressor in a Goodman HVAC unit. Does anyone know if the sound at shut off is normal, around minute 2:19 into video. It sounds normal while running, but the screeching noise does not....Any ideas or tips to fix it?!
Update on this... apparently this is how scroll compressors work. Nothing you can really do except change it out. I was told you could insulate the compressor but wouldn't make that much difference. It has gotten better, so I'm not sure if it had to be run for a while as it was new.
