Google sheets conditional formatting to change colors as a dates approach or pass
This video goes over how to apply conditional formatting in Google Sheets to rows as due dates approach or pass. As you can see there are three different colors here, one for when the due date is passed, one for when it's in the distant future, and two rows of color for when it's with do within a week.
There may be many different ways to accomplish this but I have found that this is probably the easiest way to show different colors for different due dates
