The show was selected from over 85 entries in the Independent Video category of the Houston International Film Festival to win a Gold Award Certificate.

“I looked to the north,” said North Dakotan Wayne Hendrickson, recalling an event that happened years ago”, and I could see this white wall coming towards me…I could see it for about two miles in the distance…I’ve lived here all my life and I’ve never seen anything like it.”
So began Hendrickson’s nearly fatal ordeal as he huddled in an open field, braced against a 40 mph blizzard. Sixteen hours slowly ticked by as Hendrickson waited for the storm to subside. By the time it was over, 22 people had lost their lives. Hendrickson’s story, and the testimony of others who survived, are part of this tense documentary.
