After the release of his previous album, Bik I Am (Sony BMG India, Soldier Sound Recordings UK), which produced hits such as "Kinna Sohna Munda," "Beyonce," "Electro Love Boliyan" and "Jaaniye," Singh is back with a certified club banger, Billo Rani. It's a beautiful mix of Punjabi folk meets the contemporary dance music, with a strong vocal performance. Lyrics and vocals, though folk, compliment the contemporary melodic synth sounds and the hard hitting bass. It is a high energy, fast paced, guarantee to get your hips moving record, and it begs to be played at full volume.
Following the release of Bik I Am, Singh has been busy touring internationally and writing/recording new material, collaborating with several new and established producers & writers. Billo Rani is produced by an east coast based producer Sunil Sehgal, most notably known for his production of "Basement Bhangra Anthem," (Koch Records) alongside DJ Rekha feat. Wyclef Jean. The video for Billo Rani produced by Paranormal Media features the beautiful up and coming model and actress, Asal Kara. The video was shot in New York City and London, two of Singh's favorite cities. Singh has also wrapped up the sequel (Kawan 2) to the now classic "Kawan" feat. Gunjan Singh, which along with a video will be released early next year.
