The Hmong are very fun people and are always happy and very welcoming with their culture, beliefs and customs. I had the chance to attend a traditional ceremony and party and had the opportunity to sit with all the men of the village. The women are not aloud to sit with the men but they let me join as a solo black female traveler.
I embarked on a journey deep in the mountains in northern Vietnam to meet and learn more of their culture and I ended up on a party celebration which was going on in the village . It’s One of the biggest tribes in Vietnam, China and Laos.
